Are you wondering, how to become an entrepreneur? There are tons of blogs that will give you tips to work on your entrepreneurial skills, but before you take your foot in that direction, asses yourself. Are you an entrepreneur or an employee? What makes you happy? What do you find actual value in?

Go on, have a read, ask yourself these questions and introspect. Before you begin the entrepreneurial research, identify where your interest lies!

Dependence or Independence: An employee is dependent. Being an employee asks one to seek direction from seniors and the boss. You have to comply with the set rules and expectations. Now as an employee you are responsible to get work done, although any obstacle in not achieving targets will not affect your finances directly. In most cases employees are entitled to receive a fixed salary every month and that stays consistent.

Being an entrepreneur is all about being independent both financially as well as while making decisions. You need to take responsibility for every action in the organization. Being an entrepreneur gives you the freedom to follow your instinct, be autonomous and be your own boss. Also you have to manage your finances well, you are not fortunate to receive a per month salary.

Stability or Risk bearer: A job gives you stability. As mentioned above, there is a fixed income you earn every month.

Business is all about uncertainty and bearing risk. Well you might win a jackpot someday, but there will certainly be days when you do not own a penny. Also you have to make sure you pay all your dependents, sometimes even with no profit at hand.

Follower or Self-instructor: Being an employee is all about following instructions. You are guided by seniors, mentors and supervisors. Listen to what they say, that is the final word.

On the other hand, a businessman has to be a self-instructor. How to be an entrepreneur? Learn the art of decision making. Work with your own instructions and follow your mind!

For the leader or For yourself: Employees work for the leader. You have work to attain targets set by the leader for the growth of your organization.

An entrepreneur works for personal goals. You have the right and the opportunity to set goals for your own business and fulfill them at your own accord. It is a blessing to be able to set your priorities as per your will.

Talk to yourself and contemplate. Do what suits you right. Nothing is unattainable, go out there and dare to live your dream.
